SOUNDCAMP

I would like to invite you to the second iteration of our soundCamp/REVEIL event to be taking place at the Stave Hill Ecological Park on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2015. SoundCamp returns to Stave Hill with a programme of field recording and audio streaming workshops, a dawn chorus walk and the second REVEIL 24 hour broadcast of live daybreak sounds from around the world. This year we are happy to have Peter Cusack with us to lead a field recording workshop and a dawn chorus walk and The Philosopher’s Stove who will be cooking food over an open fire. Admission is free but booking to camp and PARTICIPATE in the activities is essential as places are limited. This year we are happy to work in partnership with Octopus Collective, Soundart Radio and Ulster Museum for the organisation of similar soundcamps in their respective locations; a project made possible with the valuable support of Sound and Music and Arts Council England.
