Les inscriptions sont ouvertes jusqu’au 15 juillet minuit pour les « phonurgia nova awards 2019 ». Lancés à Arles en 1986, accueillis depuis 2016 par la BnF, ces Prix encouragent l’exploration du sonore comme média du réel et de l’imaginaire sous les formes les plus libres (fiction, documentaire, art sonore) en récompensant les auteurs qui font de l’espace radiophonique et du web un terrain d’écriture et d’invention. Cette année encore 5 prix et 4 résidences seront accordés par un jury international aux oeuvres et projets les plus enthousiasmants, quelle que soit leur provenance (radios publiques ou privées, auteurs indépendants, collectifs, éditeurs de podcasts, etc)

You are a field recordist, author of radio fictions or documentaries, audio art works, soundwalks, Hörspiel, podcasts… inventor of digital forms which involve the narrative plasticity of sounds? These Prizes are conceived for you. If they are selected, your works will be play at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France during this 24th edition of Phonurgia Nova Awards.
You can submit :
1) finalized productions (eligible at the various Prizes)
2) not finalized projects: models and scenarios (eligible for the benefit of Residences)
Since the beginning in 1986, the « Phonurgia Nova Awards » are a resonance space for innovative artistic work with sound. Ars Acustica, sound art, audio art, digital radio art, sound poetry, phonography, field recording… Above and beyond all of the various stylistic concepts, the jury expect predominantly « radiophonic » works, i.e. works that obey the narrative laws of radio (even if the pieces are not told with words but with sound).
